If you are looking for a venue for a one-off event or a regular meeting in The Boldons our churches offer a choice of spaces at reasonable prices. All our prices are per hour, and include 15 minutes set up and and clear away time before and after your booking. St Nicholas Church,

Boldon Colliery (NE35 9JA)

Completely flexible space, capacity depends on the layout of the room.

Hire includes the use of up to 200 chairs, tables, kitchen and garden space.

Ideal for: exercise/wellbeing classes, craft groups, children's parties, concerts and lectures.

For evening and weekends parking is available in Hedworth Lane Primary School playground.

Hire our historic listed building for your event. Fixed pews seating up to 120 people. Ramp available for access up the steps.

Ideal for: concerts, recitals, presentations/lectures.

St Nicholas Church Hall

West Boldon (NE36 0RF)

Our hall is currently undergoing renovations, but provides a welcoming space for small events and meetings. Includes use of kitchen space, toilets, chairs and tables and garden space. Depending on room layout you can accommodate up to 100 people in this space.

Ideal for: community meetings, children's parties, social occasions, craft/wellbeing groups, rehearsal space.

St George's Church

East Boldon (NE36 0SF)

St George's provides different spaces depending on what you're looking for in the heart of East Boldon.

"The Coffee Room" a flexible space with tables and chairs which can accommodate up to 50 people. Direct access to the kitchen and toilets.

"The Chapel" a small chapel space which can seat up to 40 people.

"The Upper Room" a large multipurpose room which is upstairs and does not currently have accessible access. Please be aware of this if you're considering booking this space.

"The Main Church" Fixed pews seating up to 200 people.
